We had some early morning errands to run today, and we wanted to get breakfast while we were out. We discussed a few options, and then Jeff remembered the Sun Stop has a whole deli inside with really good southern-style food. So we ordered a few meals, pulled two tiny tables together, and had gas station breakfast 🙂
Then the girls were dancing and being so cute and silly after they finished eating.
After grabbing our Walmart grocery order pick-up (and running inside really quick to grab the last thing I needed for Addison’s birthday present), we took all the food home and put away the cold stuff. Then we were back out again, for a quick trip to East Hill, to pick up the summer camp bag and packet.
Then we did a super fast living room clean up at home, Jeff started some laundry, I took a shower, made the girls a snacky-plate for lunch, and then Jeff got Addison down for a nap. Emerson and I went over to my parents’ house to do the set-up and decorating for Addison’s 3 Ring Circus 3rd birthday party!
We were there for a couple of hours before the rest of the family started showing up (so we took a quick swim while it was just us), and Nana even brought over the fancy little popcorn machine from their church. (I wish I would have made one more giant batch to bring some home for a snack!)
Papa grilled hamburgers & hot dogs on the Blackstone, then we just did chips, cole slaw and macaroni salad (all from Publix), to keep it super simple.
It is actually very hard to believe that my little baby will be three tomorrow morning when she wakes up. She still seems so little sometimes (I mean, yes, she is physically so tiny), but she is also growing up so much, and talks so much now, in these big long sentences. She has a big personality and is honestly so funny. She’s a tender little soul (just like her big sister) and just the sweetest munchkin there ever was. Loved celebrating her tonight with our family, that does sometimes feel a bit like a circus! 🤣🍿🌭🍔🎪🎟️
