As always, the girls were up bright and early, up to their usual shenanigans. By the time I woke up and came out to the living room, Emmie was in her cheer costume form Halloween, and Addie was only in a diaper. But I convinced them it would be fun to wash my giant sliding glass door, and they honestly liked it and fought each other about staying on their own sides 😂

Look at these adorable matching girlies before church today. I sang on the worship team today, so I was there for rehearsal early, and Jeff did a good job taking these photos when he brought the girls a little later. (He was actually working the tech booth in GC kids, so we were both serving today.)
We had some cereal for breakfast, then Jeff mowed the front yard (look at those lines!) and Emmie helped me clean up all over the house inside. We spent about two hours tidying up the dining room (it was super cluttered) then folding roughly four loads of laundry and getting it all hung up and put away.

Jeff went to church first today, to serve on the sound booth team for big church. Then the girls and I went a little early too, because it was my week to serve in the preschool room.

We had had the most chill Saturday, filled mainly with chores trying to get the house back in order from its state of intense mess & clutter. We started the morning with donuts, and you can see the evidence of how much Addie loved hers.

Even though we had a short work/school week, we were of course still very much ready for Friday to roll around today.

My girls were both in their matching Bluey shirts this morning, but we couldn’t manage sister pics, because Addie was grumpy this morning.

Just dropping a few quick photos tonight… I rarely ever take many photos on a busy Wednesday church night, and plus, both girls and myself are grumpy and having a rough bedtime tonight, so we’re hanging on by a thread…
With anticipated severe weather today, all of Leon County schools were closed. So I took off one more day of work to take care of the girls. They did actually sleep in a little bit today, praise the Lord for that, but once they did wake up, they were immediately dressed us as matching Elsa’s, complete with braids, necklaces, crowns and even gloves. So they had some morning cereal in their fancy costumes.

We did really great getting dressed, ready & finished packing early this morning. We had some cereal for a quick breakfast at the Airbnb, and then were pulling out of the driveway at 8:01 am CST (which was 9am Tally-time), exactly when we planned. We drove about 1.5 hours, and then made a last-minute decision to pull off the road and find a local coffee shop as we went through Chattanooga, TN.

We’ve had another pretty chill day, just hanging out with all the Pullen’s. We went to church with the whole family, at the church where Jeff’s oldest brother’s family attend and serve. It felt pretty similar to our own church, and it was nice to all go together. (There were about 15 of us, but I don’t have pics of the other two families.)
