Growing Room was closed today, so I took the day off work to be with my girls all day. I hadn’t had my favorite egg-in-the-hole breakfast in quite a while, and it was callin’ my name this morning. Emmie said she wanted eggs & toast, but not my kind of eggs & toast. So she had toast with a side of scrambled eggs.

We had a great morning at church today – I was on praise team and got to sing some great songs – and then we had family lunch at Dairy Queen afterwards. Grammy & Papa got all five girls these Buccee’s Christmas shirts on their trip last weekend, and we planned for them to wear them together today.

Today was supposed to be “tacky Christmas sweater day,” and although we didn’t have tacky sweaters, we did have cute new Christmas penguin outfits!

This week is Christmas dress-up days at school, with a different Christmas-themed outfit every day. We have stuff for Emerson for every day, but Addison is only doing a few of the days… But today was Christmas hat day, so Emmie wore this Santa hat we picked up over the weekend at the Dollar Tree.
