Waddle, Waddle, Waddle

This little cutie got up a bit too early today (around 5:45am), so after snuggling on the couch for a bit, she started playing on her Kindle for a while before having to get ready for school.

She was being such a silly little goose at school this morning, but we had a good drop-off.

They’ve been learning all about the farm at school this week, and they’ve made a different animal every day during arts and crafts. They’ve made a pig, sheep, and cow, then today they made a handprint hen!

After school and work, on our way to the car, she just plopped down on the curb and chatted for a bit about the crafts they’d been working on. I told her I’d brought her a special candy treat for her car snack, and she quickly hopped up and climbed into her seat.

We decided to head out to dinner at Taco Bell tonight, and it was easy and yummy. Emmie and I played freeze dance sitting in the booth waiting for our food, then we did the happy dance again when our food came.

She ate all her dinner, so we got her an order of the cinnamon twists, of which she only ate a few. So we volunteered to help finish the others, since they wouldn’t be good as leftovers 😉

We watched Peter rabbit again this morning and again after dinner, and she’s really loving the whole vegetable garden scene still. So then she pretended that she was a bunny and snacking on this little plastic toy carrot.

After the carrot play, she found this tiny penguin, and was a waddling around her room repeating over and over again “Waddle waddle waddle! Waddle waddle waddle!”

After we did books and prayers and hugs, she got in her bed for a lullaby. She talked to the little penguin and by her shoulder, and then put her hands behind her head, and the whole pose just struck me as adorable. I told her I absolutely had to get a picture, so to get ready for the flash, which of course she thinks is so funny for some reason! But look how cute!

Bedtime went smooth and easy, and mama is ready for some rest and relaxation now! We’ve got a full day planned with both sides of our family tomorrow, which we’re looking forward to, and then no concrete plans for Sunday, which we’re also looking forward to 😊
