Moo-Cow-Girls

I was at church early today, but laid out the girls’ outfits, and Jeff did a great job getting them dressed and ready and to the church on time. Love these little cow-print dresses from Grammy, and their new sunglasses from Mommy. They were the cutest little moo-cow-girls!

We had an incredible morning at church, including great worship and preaching, and an awesome baptism, with 2 kids, 7 youth, and 4 adults. So amazing to see so many new believers baptized!

We went to Echalee for lunch, and Addison was just eating the salsa with her little fingers.

Then after the salsa, girlfriend went nuts with her black beans, and was literally covered up to her elbows with the mess. She ate great though, obviously!

Church and lunch was of course followed by nap time for all of us for a couple of hours. After nap time, we headed back to church, for the start of a new semester of Connect Groups. We first had about 5 or 6 groups eat dinner altogether (some giant sandwich platters and chips) in the fellowship hall. Then we sent the kids of to their childcare rooms, and all the grown-ups split off into the classes we signed up for.

Megan & Bo (as the children’s pastors), along with our youth-pastor-couple, are leading a parenting class this time, so we’re doing that one. We’re going to go over 12 tough topics and how to talk to your kids about them, and we started off strong tonight with how to talk to your kids about God. It’s gonna be a great class, and I’m looking forward to the rest of the semester.

Had a little snack time at home, watching Bluey on the couch, and then it was time for bed right away.

Emmie gets to go to the book fair tomorrow, so we got her some cash in a little donut-shaped coin purse, circled the book she wanted from the flier, tore it out & put it in the donut, and hopefully someone can help her find it tomorrow. We need to wash some dishes, and pack up Addie’s blankie’s for school, and try to get ourselves ready for a new week.
