Emerson had her cute mermaid tote bag all packed up this morning to spend the day with Grandmommie, and then a sleepover tonight. And Addison was just cute and ready for school!
Emmie was wearing her little veterinarian dress-up costume today, to take care of the horsey in the playroom at Grammy’s today.
Addison had fun playing at school.
Yesterday, Taylor Swift announced she was adding four more tour stops in the U.S. after her international dates. It won’t be until October & November of 2024, but you best believe I’m going to attempt to get tickets again! So I registered for a “verified fan code,” and if I get a code, then I can try to get tickets. I chose to register for either NOLA or Indy, and if I get Indy, my old college bestie Bridget, who lives in Indy, might actually go with me!
And then Meg and I ended up picking up the girls from daycare all at the same time this afternoon, which is always loud and fun and full of so many hugs.
I popped a pizza into the oven when we got home, and then washed up some dishes while it baked. We ate our Friday night pizza at the coffee table, and this little girl was so so sweet with her precious hands folded while we prayed for our food.
We just took it easy and chilled and let Addie play to her heart’s content after dinner. Then finally got her jammies on and started bedtime. We also did a quick video call to check on Grammy, and chat with Emmie for a bit.
Jeff has been getting Addie down for bed while I’ve been writing this. And with only one kid, and an easy dinner, I’ve been able to get this written really early tonight. We started watching “Ted Lasso” recently (thanks for sharing your Apple info with us, Brad 😉 ) and we’ve been loving it. Gonna go watch a couple episodes now, and enjoy a quiet Friday night!
