Sister Takko Lunch Date

Cutie little girls, ready for another day! Addie was headed off to school as usual, but Emmie was headed for a day spent with Nana.

We saw Uncle Bo as we walked up, and she let go of my hand and ran up to give him a big hug!

Meg picked me up for lunch today, and we went to Takko Korean Taqueria. This was her first time, and I helped her decide what to order, and she actually loved everything she got! We each tried a few bites of the others tacos, and shared the chips and fries, but still couldn’t finish either of the sides.

Even as often as we see each other these days, at church and family stuff,we still always have so much to talk about together, and one hour just isn’t enough. My sister is truly my bestie, and I love her so much!

Addie had a good day at school, and I love the little piggies she got in her hair today.

Emmie also had an incredible day with Nana, visiting Grammy at the hospital, going to the library and the park, a few hours at Urban Air, and a game of dominoes with Nana! Such a big day!

The girls just had to go running wild through the freshly mowed grass in the front yard when we got home tonight, and were just laughing and giggling together and having the best time.

The girls had some leftovers for dinner, and Jeff and I had tuna salad wraps, with tuna and avocado on mine, and lettuce on both of ours. (Just wanted to keep it light and quick and easy, and this was delicious as we always love tuna.)

After dinner, Jeff and Addison worked on some laundry together, and Emerson and I worked in her room. We cleaned off a giant pile of clutter on her dresser, and went through her t-shirt drawer to rotate out the small stuff, and also cleaned out her shoe collection too.

Then after all of that, it was time for jammies and bedtime, and books and cuddles. We forgot to do their antibiotics this morning, but we did them tonight. Then we almost forgot to give them their nightly sleepy gummies, and they were still a little keyed up, so it was a little late when we finally got them to sleep.
