Emerson picked out her outfit today, and she was very proud of her choices. And really, she looked so pretty!
This weeks’ letter is W – so she brought Wolfy from Wolfson Hospital, that she got for her open-heart surgery.
We didn’t get to school at the exact same time as the triplets today, but they were coming in as I was going out, so I still got good loves from my trippees.
We met up with Jeff’s parents for dinner at Pepper’s tonight, which was both yummy and fun. Addison surprisingly slept through the entire event, in her carseat-cubicle, on the floor. I was shocked!
After dinner, we had a little bit of playtime with Addison…
And Emerson went home for a sleepover with Nana & PopPop! So we’ve only had one little girl in our house tonight, and it feels so weird! We did a video call with her before her bedtime, and sang a song with her, and now her and Nana are laying down together. Our little Addison is falling asleep now while Daddy rocks her, and then we hope we can sleep all through the night!
I’ve been texting back and forth with my old college friend Bridget (who now lives in Indiana) for most of the night, after she first texted me earlier to tell me she finally got her first library card, and knew I’d be excited for her! We’ve been chatting about things we’re doing lately and such, and it’s just good to catch up! I’m also playing a few games from the Wordle archive, while watching tv, and just chilling out on a quiet, rainy, cold Friday night 🙂
