Burning Wrapping Paper

Beautiful sunrise orange skies this morning, on our way to school and work.

Where we met Grammy & Papa at school, for Emerson to spend a few days with them out at their house!

And Emmie also gave Grammy one of our Christmas projects we made last week, that we forgot to give her the other day.

Then little Miss Addie Pie was ready for a quieter week at school, since there were fewer kids there, on this shorter week between holidays.

She did have a good day at school, and we got a few good pictures of her.

And Emerson had a good day with the grandparents!

Addie was just so cute and sweet when I picked her up from school today.

I made classic spaghetti with meat sauce, Caesar salad, and garlic bread for dinner, and everyone cleaned their plates, including the baby girl, who was just covered in red sauce and loved every bite of it.

After dinner, I got the leftovers (precious little) put away, and Jeff got the bathtub & the baby read. Then I gave Addison a bath (the first I can remember with her by herself, without big sister), and she splashed around for a quite a while in there. By then, it was time for Addie to go to sleep, so Jeff held her while she had some milk and they watched Bluey, and I played on my phone and ate a little of this cookie dough by the Christmas tree. 😉

Since Emerson is staying out at my parents’ house and doing a few nights of sleepovers, it was really different around the house, but bedtime was quick and easy, with only one little one in the house. And I miss that little girl already! Can’t wait to see her on Thursday, but I know she’s gonna have a great time the next couple of days still. I gotta go get myself warmed up now, because I’m freezing, once again!
