The water in our building was turned off today to work on the pipes & plumbing. So we couldn’t use the restrooms… And since our old building is heated by an old boiler, there was also no heat. So we were allowed to work from home, so obviously I chose to do that! I stayed in my super soft, super warm jammies, lit a candle, and made a pot of coffee.
So after I got signed in early, I went back to the kitchen and made myself a really quick breakfast. I was feeling extra hungry today, so I made three pieces of egg-in-the-hole toast, instead of my usual three, and I was stuffed afterwards. But it was soo good.
Jeff took Addison to school today so I could just enjoy my morning at home, and they got to see Uncle Bo & Riley at drop-off too, after their own little breakfast date.
Obviously I used my lunch break to eat leftover spaghetti and watch an episode of Survivor.
Addie Pie had a good day at school, and Emmie had a good day with her grandparents still!
Afternoon sunset/sunlight right at 5pm as I was signing out. So pretty.
Jeff and the boys were out running errands late this afternoon, so I threw on some clothes to go pick up Addison from school. We had some air fryer chicken nuggets for dinner, and then had lots of playtime all together before Addie’s bedtime.
And wouldn’t you know – Jeff fell asleep while rocking Addie to sleep.
I loved working from home today, and wish I got the opportunity to do it more often. It was just so cozy and relaxed and I loved getting extra time at home, when it was mostly quiet and chill. Emerson is having one more sleepover night tonight with Grammy, Papa & Grandmommie, and then we’ll get her back tomorrow. I know she’s having a great little mini vacay away from home, but I miss that sweet little munchkin!
