After work, I picked up Emmie from summer camp, and Meg got stuck at work late, so we both ended up at daycare at the same time. Her, Em and I went to get the triplets, but we found their class in the hallway. Kensley and Ellie stayed to talk to us, but we lost Riley. Next thing we knew, Riley was coming back down the hall, holding hands with Addie, where she had picked her up from her classroom for us, and she was so proud of herself 😁
Even though it was literally 90 degrees outside, we still braved the heat to eat dinner out on the back patio. But it was wayyy too warm, and so literally the second we finished we were back inside.
But these Turkey Avocado Onion Bacon Lettuce Tomato sandwiches on sourdough were so stinking yummy. I already packed up all the ingredients, so I can have a repeat for lunch again tomorrow.
We had lots of chill cuddle time after dinner, and then eventually got the girls in bed. Emmie is still kinda into her sleeping bag, and toted it to the living room, and then our bedroom, and back to her bedroom for bedtime.
Addie is having a hard time calming down completely tonight… After we laid her in her bed, she popped back up and has been crying for a bit, so I wrote this post quickly so I go grab her and cuddle her longer, until she’s actually ready to go to sleep.
