There we go again with a blurry picture on accident. I think my camera is having some troubles lately… But they were still cute and smiley before school and camp.
But then Emmie had to change her outfit, before she headed off to camp.
Went out to lunch today at a new place in town, called Lemon & Thyme, with Mama, Megan, and Aunt Q. I got the steak & bleu salad, and the peach sweet tea, and it was really good. That teeny tiny piece of bread was super good too, and I could have eaten about five of those. It was also bright and light and sunny in there, and just had good vibes.
After getting home with the girls, I made chicken taquitos, yellow rice and black beans for dinner. Emerson was saying our dinner blessing tonight, and she was so sweet; and Jeff and Addie with their folded hands and heads tilted towards each other were also so cute and sweet.
The girls had a bath after dinner, so while I took care of them, Jeff did some dishes, and then folded some laundry. Grammy had brought a bag of random goodies to lunch today, so I passed those out to the girls tonight – like shirts from my parents’ VBS, and a new 1st grade t-shirt, and some stickers, and the cutest Dunkin Donuts jibbits for all of our Crocs. (Mine are just out in the carport, and need to rinse them off first.)
We got the girls down for bed afterwards, with lots of cuddles from both sweet girls. And now I need to plop down on the couch and get some rest for myself.
