Releasing Butterflies

The sunrise the last few mornings has been so beautiful – we can see the big bright orange ball just over the trees, and of course I wished the cell phone could truly capture how pretty it is!

My two little girls were bright and sunny and happy this morning, and we were exactly on time today, instead of 30 minutes late like yesterday 😉

I don’t know what this little pose is with her arms, but her new dress is so cute and I love it so much!

No photos of the girls today, but a video instead! Emerson’s class had some cocoons hatch into butterflies and they released them today, and look at all the fun and joy of these happy kids!

I left only just a couple minutes late today, but drove very slowly to the school, through that blast of storms that hit the area. Then I had to wait my turn to park underneath the shelter, and then drove very slowly home in the rain as well. But we made it home safely, and we had taquitos, rice & beans for dinner.

The girls had a bath after dinner, and although we had a little bit of time together, but putting both girls down tonight was difficult. Addison just fought sleep for a long time, and Emerson just really tried my patience more than usual.

Once again though, I’m not gonna go into it, but I’m trying to de-stress now, and hopefully I can head off to bed soon…
