Somehow this week, we’ve just had mostly “normal” days so far, without much happening out of the norm. I’ve also taken less photos, so we’ve got another short little post tonight…. Goofy girls this morning – it’s getting harder to take our daily photos each morning because it’s getting darker, and because they’re getting wigglier!
Emerson couldn’t stop to stand still for a quick photo, so all we have are these quick ones Jeff snapped while they were walking up to school. She got these sweatbands on her head and wrist as a prize for her fundraiser last week, and apparently she wanted to wear them to school today, haha 🙂
Meg and I had a leftovers potluck lunch today – she brought our main course (sloppy joes) and I brought a side dish (pasta salad), and she brought apples and I brought Sun Chips, and we had a nice little lunch together 🙂
Addie had a fun day at school today, just look at those smiles!
Jeff got both Emerson and me chicken nugget Happy Meals for dinner, and we ate in the car before church. Then she went inside for kids choir rehearsal, and I went inside for my first praise team rehearsal! It went really well, although I was nervous, but I enjoyed it, and I got to sing with my sister!
Oh and Jeff and Addie went to Taco Bell while Em and I were both singing, and then they came back in time for the service.
It was straight to bed (after a round of snacks of course) when we got home, and both girls were sweet and sleepy and ready for bed.
I’m feeling particularly exhausted tonight, so I’m going to let Jeff do all the things we need to do to get ready for tomorrow. I’m gonna go put my feet up, and put a heating pad behind my back for a while, until I inevitably fall asleep in the recliner…
