Dicing Pears

Going to make this another short & sweet post today. Everything was just kind of a run-of-the-mill day, without much extra to say about it… Both girls had a good school drop-off.

Addie had fun playing on the playground today…

And she was having fun in these tunnels when I got there to pick her up.

But then she promptly fell asleep on the car ride home after picking up Emerson.

I made breakfast burritos and hash browns for dinner, and Emerson helped me out by using her little-kid-safe knife to cut up some canned pears for us.

Addie had a fit during dinner, and Jeff took her to calm her down while I ate. Then we switched so he could eat, and eventually I brought her back to the table. When she finally decided she wanted to eat, she just wanted to eat the entire rest of the bowl of diced pears.

The girls had a bath after dinner, and then we watched an animal show on Disney+ for a bit, before it was bedtime for both of them.

I’ve got a sink full of dishes to wash tonight, so I’m going to prop my phone in the window sill above the sink, and watch another episode of “Survivor” while I wash dishes & sippy cups and clean the kitchen and set up the coffee pot and do a few other things to get ready for tomorrow.
