Final Day in the Studios

As much as we’ve missed having Emerson with us at morning drop-off this week, Addison has done such a good job all on her own. I guess it was a little preview for the fall, when Emmie moves to kindergarten. Yikes, that’s too much to think about. But back to Addie, she was adorable and so sweet this morning.

Then little Chickpea walked herself all the way into school and down the hallway, and all the way to her classroom, by herself!

And Emerson was excited for her last day at VBS!

I picked her back up again at noon, and sat with Britteny up in the balcony watching them dance and sing for a few minutes. We got pictures with Emmie & Elly for their final day in the studios, they hugged so sweetly, and then I dropped Emerson off for her afternoon at school.

Lots of pictures of Addie at school today…

A little belatedly, I put up all of Addison’s monthly photos on my wall at the office today, and caught up on a couple of Emerson’s that I was behind on as well. (There’s too much space between Emmie’s group on the far left, and the rectangle frame thing, and I might need to do something about that, because that’s annoying.)

And my cute little office plants are just doing so well right now!

After school Addie fell asleep in the car before we even pulled out onto the main road.

I had planned to make salmon tonight, but it was frozen and I forgot to thaw it, so I just whipped up some tuna instead, and we had some mandarin oranges and chips, and the girls had PB&J’s, and it was all easy and yummy. (We haven’t wanted to take apart our puzzle yet, but we’re finally going to do it in the morning.)

We had lots of good playtime after dinner, full of dancing and music and sweet loves, before doing bedtime stuff.

Emmie and I did her whole bedtime routine cuddling and laying in MY bed, and then she got her songs and loves from Daddy, after he rocked Addie to sleep first. I’m ready to kick back on the couch now and watch a little tv, and then I’m hoping to go to bed kinda early and get a great night’s sleep tonight.
