After a nice long Christmas break for Emerson, she wasn’t quite ready to actually go back to school today. But she was still adorable, and it was cute having the girls back on the steps together 🙂
Addie had a good drop-off with me, and then Emmie had a good drop-off with Daddy!
Meeting at the office this morning….
Emmie had a good day back at school, and Addie had a good day at daycare.
After a three-week break from Wednesday night church, all activities were back up & running tonight. So I was there early for praise team rehearsal, and Jeff took the girls to dinner, before the three of them came back in time for the service. And just look at how beautiful the sunset sky was when I got to church!
Our prayer service was great tonight, but man it wore me out, standing to sing for rehearsal and service for basically two hours straight in my super flat, not-so-great-for-my-feet-sandals. The girls were also pretty tired too, and Emmie was very easy to get to sleep. Addie on the other hand, she was quite the little rascal, and took us forever to get her down. Jeff is actually still holding and rocking her in the living room, and hopefully we can lay her down in her crib soon.
Time for this lady to grab a snack, put my feet up, and try to wind down for the night.
