Dinner & A Show

It was an extremely cold morning, but I had two sweet, happy girls! And look at the goofiness on my Emerson’s face 🙂

And the same happy silly smile on my Addison’s face too!

Coincidentally, they are having dental hygiene week at school this week (after Emerson just had cavities filled on Monday), and today they had dental hygiene students from TCC today, to learn all about brushing and taking care of their teeth.

And this little peanut just went for a bye-bye-buggy ride!

I got stuck at work late again this afternoon, by about 35-ish minutes (this week has been absolutely crazy busy and stressful at work), so Jeff picked up the girls, and we all ended up getting back home around the same time.

Emerson “helped” me get dinner started, and Addison slept in her car seat a bit, and then we had some taquitos with rice and beans.

Addison got to try some little fruit & veggie melts for the first time, and she was really cute with them, although she didn’t actually quite know what to do with them. She did however LOVE the yellow rice I shared with her, and then cleaned out a whole container of her baby food.

This was Emmie showing me how strong she is…

And then she put on a little show for Addison and I, dancing around doing some ballet moves and some gymnastics moves, putting music on the keyboard, and just entertaining us for a little bit. We had dinner & a show tonight!

This is the face of a very tired little Chickpea.

I fed Addie a bottle, and Jeff and Emmie watched some YouTube videos, and then we got both girls in bed. I did very minimal clean-up in the kitchen earlier, so I’ve got to get back to that and finish some things up…

But currently, I’m feeling stupid-emotional watching the season two finale of the “Cheer” docuseries on Netflix. It’s just so good! I took a little break in between my old seasons of “Survivor” to watch this, and then next I’m going to watch season two of “Sweet Magnolias,” and then I’ll be back to “Survivor” after that 🙂
