Today was a busy day, and I’ve got more chores to finish up tonight, and Jeff isn’t feeling well. So I’m keeping this short & sweet… We had a great morning at church today.
Followed by a great quick lunch with family at Zaxby’s.
Then naptime for all four of us this afternoon. (I actually woke up with a splitting headache, so I slept for 3 hours and it finally went away when I woke up.)
Then we spent an hour at Lofty Pursuits having dessert before dinner, hanging out with our GC Connect Group.
We had dinner at Sonny’s…
Then picked up our Walmart grocery order on the way home. And Emmie was so excited about the sky, and wanted me to take pictures because in front of us it was pink-ish, and behind us it was golden.
Emmie was good at bedtime, but Addie kept wanting to wander around the house, just giggling about absolutely nothing.
So now it’s 9:30, and she’s in her little seat watching “Yo Gabba Gabba,” trying to lull her into a trance, and then we’ll attempt rocking her to sleep again in a little bit.
I’ve already got a cup of tea ready to get started for later, but first, I have to wash up a huge load of dishes that have been piling up for a few days now.
I’ve already laid out all the girls’ clothes for the week, and put fresh blankets in Addie’s bag for naptime and washed her sippy cups, but I’ve got to wash dishes and get Emmie’s lunch half-packed, and get myself and my stuff ready for another week.
