Another day of cute matching outfits for these cute girls. Addie just wasn’t quite in the mood for photos today 😉

I’ve been reading a 9-volume graphic novel compendium (all the parts in one giant collection) called “Saga” via Kindle from the library on my phone, and I just loved this beautiful page so much, I screenshot it to use as my phone background.
And speaking of reading, I came across this “Summer Reading Challenge” from Reese’s Book Club today, and I definitely am doing this now! Not sure yet if I’m going to do it like Bingo, or just try to do as many as possible. Seems fun though! I always loved the Book It! summer reading as a kid, especially when we earned a free pizza at the end of the summer! So, who’s gonna give me a free pizza when I complete my challenge at the end of the summer?!
My girl got Cool Camper today!!! That means she was on her best behavior, and listened all week, and helped out in her group, and her counselors chose her as the best camper of the week in her group! I’m so proud of her. And she was so proud of herself!
Jeff got home at the same time the girls and I did. He marched into the kitchen and turned on the oven to preheat, so I just plopped down on the couch, and let him take care of everything for dinner for once. We had pizza, and the girls just had some white rice with a few other snacks. Then we just ate in the living room, while watching a movie, and had a super chill Friday night.
When it was time to start bedtime, both girls climbed up in mine and Jeff’s bed and got cozy together under the covers for a few minutes.Then after our usual stuff, Emerson was asleep in no time flat. I also rocked Addison for a few minutes, and she fell asleep super easily too.
We actually got them both in their beds a little early, well, earlier than most nights this week at least, so it was still light outside, and the pink cotton candy sky looked so pretty!
The kitchen counter is currently just completely covered in all sorts of mess, and the sink is fully of dishes… but those things can wait until tomorrow. For now, I just wanna do nothing!
