Baby Panda Bear

Another Monday, another week, two cute baby girls!

Just like Emerson when she was this age, Addison loves playing on the little pretend phones every morning.

Both girls had a good day at school, and looks like they even did the same art project today.

One of my sweet coworkers gave me this little dino pen to bring home for Emerson, and of course Emerson loved it. She had to open it up and test it out immediately, and she was like, “Mommy, it writes perfect!!”

We made it home safe and sound in the pouring rain, and then I made some chicken alfredo for dinner. Since I have the 1,000 piece puzzle on our dining rom table, we actually got out the card table to eat on last night when our friends were over, so we decided to leave it up while I work on my giant puzzle. The dinner was delicious, and everyone cleaned our bowls.

Then we had about 30 minutes of playtime ack in Addison’s room. She found this panda sweatshirt of Emmie’s, and she wanted to play with it, so I put it on her and she was SO cute walking around like a little baby panda bear!

Addison is starting to learn some of her body parts and some animal sounds. When you ask her where her head is, she pats herself on the head with both tiny hands. And when you ask her to show you where her mouth is, she does this 🤣

Both girls fought bedtime a little bit, but we did eventually get them both to sleep after a little extra time cuddling and calming. Jeff also helped me finish the border of my puzzle, because I had two pieces in the wrong place, and he found the last missing edge piece that I hadn’t found. We’ve placed just a few other pieces, but hey, at least it’s a start…

I accidentally stayed awake way too late last night (watching a movie I didn’t really even like that much), and I was exhausted all day today. So I’m going to try to get to bed much earlier tonight, and maybe even skip washing the dishes and ask Jeff to take care of it for me 🙂
