Then I took Emerson to summer camp, and she wore her Elsa dress on top of her outfit, for Disney day at camp today. I thought she was going to take it off after morning assembly, but when I picked her up, she was still wearing it! She said she only took it off for swim time, but wore it the whole day other than that!
And Addison had a special “donuts with dad” breakfast with Daddy at daycare this morning!
My leftover taquitos with yellow rice and black beans was so delicious for lunch at work today.
I was supposed to go to book club tonight, but most of the group ended up not being able to make it due to various struggles and issues. Jeff was already planning on taking the girls to his parents’ house for dinner, so I just joined them there for cheeseburgers for dinner, and fresh fruit strawberry popsicles for dessert.

Sleepy girls wanted to cuddle up together in our bed for a few minutes. Then Emmie was out super easily, but Addie fought it a bit, even after we gave them both a sleepy gummy to help them calm down.
Jeff’s been holding Addie in the recliner for a while now, so hopefully she’s actually fallen asleep by now. I’m kinda having one of those nights where I’m just over it, so I took a grown-up sleepy gummy myself, and I’m hoping it can help me just calm down and chill out and fall asleep early on this wild Friday night…
