Since tomorrow is Earth Day, Emerson was supposed to wear blue to school today, and Addison was supposed to wear green. And they were so cute and sweet!
For lunch, I picked up Meg from her office, and we met up with Mama at one of our usual spots, Surcheros, for some delicious Tex-Mex. It was great food and great conversation, and we love having our girls’ lunches together.
Also, I was wearing a new dress today, that Meg finally gave me for my birthday, just two days ago, even though my birthday was three months ago 😆 But hey, at least she finally got me a gift! And I love the dress!
Jeff had to go back and take care of his parents’ dogs again tonight, so it was just me and the girls for dinner. I made them chicken nuggets and rice, and I had a giant chicken Caesar salad, which was so good.
Had to go out to the backyard and enjoy this super nice weather for a nice long time after dinner tonight. In fact, we were out there so long, that Daddy finally showed up!
Look how nicely color coordinated we are tonight! I did purposefully choose to wear this dress with both blue & green, for the girls’ blue & green days, and then Jeff just accidentally matched us too.
Once Addie’s diaper started smelling super foul, and the mosquitos started feasting on us, we headed back inside. We started getting the girls ready for bed, and watched one episode of Bluey, before it was time to put them to sleep. Emmie was in need of lots of Daddy cuddles tonight, so I rocked Addie to sleep for a change. Both girls are asleep now, and I’m ready to clock out for the night!
