Yesterday, when we were leaving school, Meggie gave Emmie a box of raisins (along with the applesauce), and she held on to them the whole ride home, then left them in her seat. She found them again this morning, & wouldn’t let go of them, so we took them into school. She still wouldn’t let me take them from her once we got rin her classroom, so instead she walked over & held them up to Ms Q, who realized she actually wanted to eat them!

Ok first of all, has time change hit y’all super hard, too? I fell asleep on the couch last night around 8:30, and was in bed by 9pm. Usually, my normal bedtime is 11pm, so that was quite a bit early for me. Its almost 10pm now though, so I’m doing better tonight…
Emerson caused a slight problem with her friends this morning… She saw these shakers on the ledge, and pointed at them, so of course Ms. Q gave them to her. Then her other three friends all wanted them as well, but she wouldn’t share, so one little boy started screaming crying and would not calm down!

This morning, we had a special Christmas choir rehearsal at church. So my Grandmother took care of her for us, with my Mama & Aunt Suzanne. I dropped her off on my way to the church, and she was instantly excited to see Grandmommie!

On my way to daycare this morning, I finished my audio book right as I pulled in to the parking lot. Don’t you love when that happens? Like with a song usually, but also with audio books.

Emerson was back to business as usual, making some important phone calls this morning. She even picked up two at once, and out them both up to her ears, but I missed getting the photo of that.

Tonight’s post will be short & sweet, because we currently have no electricity… Our bill was due on 10/5, but we were in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico on a cruise ship then, so we didn’t pay it. And then since we started dealing with hurricane chaos immediately after we got back home, we completely forgot about that kind of stuff. So apparently today we reached the end of our “grace period,” and when we got home at 6pm, we had no electricity. We received no phone calls, texts, or emails about it before it being shut off, so that’s super frustrating, especially since we’ve never ever missed one single payment in our five years of marriage. But we called earlier & paid the full amount over the phone, and everything is fine now, & they claim it should be on by 11pm tonight. And we’ll definitely remember this the next time we go on vacation – pay all bills upon your return!
