Look at this super cute new outfit! This is of course another super inexpensive TJ Maxx find that’s been in her closet for a while. The shorts are actually still a little bit big on her, but we just went with it anyways. Also, she randomly decided to pick up & investigate a single piece of pine straw this morning, so that’s what she’s doing in these photos.

I had to be at church early this morning for praise team rehearsal, so Jeff and Emmie dropped me off, and then met my parents for breakfast at the Bagel Market. Looks like Emmie did whatever she wanted, and just sat right on the top of the table!

As predicted, this baby girl woke up perfectly fine this morning, and was so sweet! She had some Goldfish & pink milk for her morning snack at home, and insisted on bringing it in the car, and then right on into daycare as well.

Every Saturday, I lay out Emerson’s outfits for the upcoming week, starting with her Sunday dress, followed by five days of school clothes. It just so happened to work out that her new pink sneakers matched the outfit for today perfectly. She’s so adorable! She looks so athletic in her little tennis shoes. I said that this morning at home, and Jeff said she was Sporty Spice! I knew immediately that that would be today’s post title!

Look at this cutie pie! This is another “new” outfit we’ve actually had for a long time, but we were just waiting on her to grow into it, since it’s 12-month size 😉 And I’d say she looks adorable in it!

Since Jeff and I were both still feeling nasty, we stayed home from work today. So I took Emerson to Grammy’s house, for her to do school drop-off. She wore a pretty dress for the first day in her new class, with a new pair of sandals!

So Emerson had a big of a stomach bug last Thursday night. And now it appears Part II had hit, and Jeff and I both caught it. Mine hit last night around 11pm (I was up & down about twice every hour all night long), and Jeff’s hit this morning around 9am. At first, he thought he would get up and go to church with Emerson, but that didn’t work out. He let me sleep for a few hours this morning while he took care of Emerson, and then we switched. And then Nana came over and saved us. She brought crackers and a magazine for us, and a happy meal for Emmie’s lunch. Then she took Emerson back to her house, so Jeff and I could deal with ourselves and not worry about Emmie. Here are a few photos of the day.
