On our only full day in Nola, we still let ourselves sleep in a little late (since we literally never can with kids), and finally made it out onto Canal Street by 9:30am. We bought the one-day express pass to ride the street cars and busses, and we took full advantage of that, and loved it!

Started off the morning making delicious pumpkin chocolate chip oatmeal for breakfast today. I saw it on a TikTok video the other day, and just couldn’t stop thinking about it. I may or may not have put a few too many choc chips (is that even a thing?), but it was super yummy.

Emmie was looking very cute in her gigantic first grade t-shirt for school today. They were supposed to have a big celebration with bounce houses today, but that got cancelled because of the nasty weather. But they’ll do it next Friday instead.
