For the past few weeks, Emerson has wanted Grammy to pick her up from her Sunday school class at the end of church. They had some other obligations today, so she had to settle for Mommy picking her up, and but then we ran to go find Grammy & Papa, and she was so glad to see them!

Emerson is really into cereal lately. Her and Daddy found this new chocolate Lucky Charms the other day, and she loves it. She actually ate 4 bowls of it this morning!

Emerson has been so very good lately about brushing her teeth. I know a lot of toddlers typically put up a huge fight about it, but we’re going through a lucky phase right now. She lets me brush her whole mouth, and then she “helps” for like 3 seconds, doing it on her own.

After getting Emerson out of the car at school this morning, I quickly clipped her little hair bow into place. I then said, “Ohh you’re so pretty!” And this first photo below is her replying, “YEAHHH!” At least she has no confidence problems! 🙂

Leopard, Leftovers & Lollipops
My very fashionable toddler specifically requested to wear a hair bow today. So Mommy made sure to pick and outfit and headband to match each other today – pink leopard print with a cream headband! And of course she looks adorable! Poor little thing has a super runny nose though, and is just very congested. But since she didn’t have a fever, we gave her some children’s Claritin (which will hopefully help dry out her nose) and sent her on to school for the day.

Prettiest Pumpkin in the Patch
I started out the day by making a double batch of “stick of butter rice” to take for our church Thanksgiving lunch. It’s the most simple thing, and I’ve made this for the last three years in a row, but it’s sooo good! (And I put the Christmas box on the counter, where it was sure to be remembered.)
