For our 3-day Veteran’s Day weekend, we took the girls camping at Falling Waters State Park, over in Chipley. This was Emerson’s third camping trip, but Addison’s first! We spent the majority of Friday packing and loading everything up, and finally got on the road around 3pm. Thanks to Jeff’s dad Dave (aka PopPop) for loaning us his truck for the weekend!

Addie was a little tired and grumpy at home this morning, but happy by the time we got to school. So we did separate pictures this morning. And this little girl was feeling silly, goofy with that tongue out in the second picture.

Emmie is getting pretty good at picking out cute outfits these days, like this one for a PE day. Addie slept in her brace, but then let me take it off when we got to school. And in this first photo, she’s showing us her little “meal bar” snack, which is an oatmeal bar that she’s obsessed with.

Sweet, happy little girls this morning. Emerson actually picked out her whole outfit (dress, sweater, shoes, hair clip), and I loved it. And Addison went all day at school without her arm brace, and did great.

We have had a very fun, very busy day! Everything kinda happened without much planning, and it felt like a very spontaneous day (especially since we skipped Addie’s nap time!), but we had so much fun! After breakfast at home, we started the day at the Tallahassee Museum, running around to see all the animals.

We had kind of a rough morning at home today, not-so-much with Addie, but for Emmie for sure. She woke up on the wrong side of the bed, very tired still, and everything made her upset and whiny.
