OK so now let’s get caught up on the weekend back at home…

SATURDAY

We ran all over town Saturday morning, getting breakfast, gassing up the rental van, returning the rental van, picking up Pennie. But before we did any of that, we actually had to unload the van, because we got home so late Friday night, that we left basically everything in the van so we could just head to bed quicker.

FRIDAY

I specifically woke up early on our last morning so I could watch the sunset. I opened the balcony door, rolled the computer chair right up to the door, and wrapped the giant curtain around me to keep the rest of the room dark. Then I sat there cozied up in a blanket, just enjoying the perfect temperature and the beautiful sunrise over the Atlantic ocean!

THURSDAY

Planned some activities for the girls and I around town again for the morning hours, so our day started with breakfast in the hotel room, and then a walk across the street to the parking lot, which was about half a block down, not attached directly to the hotel. And Thursday was declared strawberry day for the girls’ outfits.

WEDNESDAY

The girls had some muffins in the hotel room for breakfast, and I had one of my protein drinks and some low-sugar yogurt. Then I planned out the morning for us to explore some of the area, and also avoid the potential rain… So first up, we went to the local library, where they had an amazing kids area, totally sectioned off in the back, with tons of toys and activities, where they could just be as loud as they wanted!
