Tried a new “recipe” for bagels this morning. It’s really just a different technique, not a “recipe,” for making egg-in-the-hole, but with bagels, topped with bacon bits & cheese, and baked in the oven.

Yard Fresh Eggs
Both the girls’ schools were closed today in anticipation of the storm, so we had the whole day together. We started with eggs, of course. My friend Amanda brought in some fresh eggs from her chickens the other day, but since she doesn’t have an actual farm, she said they’re not “farm fresh eggs,” but they’re “yard fresh eggs” instead 🙂
