Man y’all, this morning was so rough. I could not get out of bed! I slept through all of my usual alarms, and finally got up around 8am. For the record, I’m supposed to be at work at 8am. So, yeah. The Triplets are Here!!!
My alarms went off super early today, but it wasn’t hard to get out of bed, because I was so excited for the big day! I was up & moving quickly, and checked in at the hospital at 5:45am! I got there before Bo & Meg were hardly even awake, and I beat everyone else! My parents, then Bo’s parents, and their pastor all gathered around their need to pray before being wheeled to the O.R. for the C-section. We were all starting to tear up a bit by this point.

Started a super short audio book this morning. This is a full-cast dramatization done by the BBC, which means there are lots of actors, plus some music and sound effects. I wouldn’t like this for every book I listen to, but it’s nice and fun for these old school Agatha Christie novels.

Green Eggs & Ham
Once again, Emerson woke up and started saying “eat, eat, eat,” within about two minutes… So she cuddled with Daddy and ate some Pop-Tart, while I finished getting everything gathered up.

Growth Spurt
I have a feeling that my teeny tiny girl might be going through a bit of a growth spurt. For the past five or so days, she has woken up almost immediately saying “eat eat.” They have breakfast at school around 8, but when she wakes up at 7, already hungry, we have to give her a little snack at home to tide her over. Monday and Tuesday it was a few Pringles when she saw them on the counter, and today was about a quarter of a Pop-Tart. This girl just might be growing!

Spring in February
My baby ballerina was awake and ready to get up when I went into her room this morning. I’m not really too sure what she was trying to do here, but right after I snapped the photo, she freaked out, and I realized her tiny thighs/knees were stuck in between the slats, so I had to squish them outta there and scoop her up for some loves.
