I’m in desperate need of a refreshed at-home pedicure, so I’m going to rush through this post today, so that I can go take care of that… Scrambled egg sammies (with lots of butter on toast) for breakfast today were so delicious.
A little bit of morning playtime…
We did some cleaning, and I washed dishes, and made tuna for lunch later, then we did some more cleaning and laundry and vacuuming…
And then eventually sat down for lunch, once we got Addie down for a nap.
Emmie laid down for a nap too, and Jeff and I both got showered and cleaned up. Then once both girls were awake, we got them dressed finally.
We went out to a 4-year-old’s birthday party for some old church friends of ours, and the girls ran wild in their amazing backyard.
After the party, we had a few errands to run, and once again the girls ran wild in the shoe store…
Then we picked up some to-go BBQ from Willie Jewell’s, to take dinner to my friend whose husband died a couple of months back. We stayed and chatted with them for a little bit, and got to enjoy this beautiful view of Lake Iamonia from their back deck.
After we left them to eat their dinner, we made a quick stop for our own dinner at Dairy Queen, by Emmie’s choosing, so she could have ice cream afterwards.
We had cuddles and loves and some tv time watching “Bluey,” then we got the girls in bed.
You can’t quite tell, but Addie was wearing Daddy’s (clean) dress sock pulled up her arm, and even though she was asleep, even when I tried to tug it off, she wouldn’t let me, so I laid her down in the bed with the sock still on her arm 🤣
Now, time to go fix this super chippy and rough looking toenail polish…
