This little girl was just happy-go-lucky this morning, swinging her arms around and clapping, and just generally being her cute little self! (Which is why all of the morning photos are a bit blurry.)

I just love this silly little goose and how goofy she is. And of course she loves her pockets!

This first photo is Emerson worried about the dark spot on the sidewalk. She kept asking, “What is this? What it this?” I kept saying, “It’s just a little mess, but we don’t need to worry about it.” But y’all know how she is about a mess!

I started off the day by throwing together a breakfast casserole for our Sunday school class, from this recipe. When buying those pre-cooked sausage crumbles yesterday, I wasn’t thrilled that they cost about $1.50 more than a package of regular, raw sausage… But then when all I had to do this morning was dump it out of the bag, I decided it was money well spent, time well saved, and one less dirty dish!

Today was such a great day! We spent the whole day with just us three, and it was so nice. We didn’t have any specific plans, for the first time in a long time, so we got to just do our own thing, and we had such a great time! So since there are tons of photos, I’m going to just write a little bit… (whenever I say that I always write a ton, so we’ll see…)
We started with breakfast at Chick-fil-A. I had 2 free 4-count chicken minis in my app, so Emmie and I both had minis and Daddy had a chicken, egg & cheese bagel, and it was delicious. And it felt so great, which was good, because we had Pretzel and we sat outside.

Well, it appears this adorable mustard-colored romper will need to be retired soon, as it’s starting to get a bit too short for her. So today may be the last time she wears it. But it’ll get passed down to baby cousin Ellie Grace (FYI – each triplet has an assigned color – Kensley = pink, Riley = turquoise, Ellie = yellow), and it’ll be adorable on her too!

Today was our first morning at home this week without Daddy, while he’s out of town for his annual work conference. So I’m a single mom repeat from last year! (Click here for last year’s day 1, day 2, day 3 & day 4 of single mommin’.) Typically, he gets Emerson up & ready, while I’m getting myself dressed. So today, I had to do it all by myself. But she was really great and easy this morning. She hung out in our bed with Pretzel while I got ready…

This cutie little baby just looks so much like a tiny adult to me in this outfit for some reason. At home, I actually gave her the choice of either these shoes, or her new moccasins, and obviously she chose these new shoes that Grammy got her! And she was excited about them!

So we bought these cute, little glittery moccasins quite a while ago. They were the one & only pair at Ross, so even though they weren’t her size then, we went ahead and bought them because we loved them so much. Then we just had to wait until the day she finally grew into them, which ended up coming just in time for fall, which I think is the perfect season for moccasins. And of course, she loves shoes, and she loves these ones!
