Emerson stayed up way too late at Nana’s house last night, but it seems she still woke up in a good mood. Nana took her to school and said she did much better at drop-off, than she did with Daddy yesterday, with only minimal whining, but not much else.

Every year to mark Dr. Seuss’s birthday, Growing Room does a week-long celebration with fun dress-up days and such. Today was silly hat day, and Emmie kept saying, “this is a beach hat!” But even wearing a silly hat, you still gotta have tea with your morning muffin 🙂

She woke up a little bit then and asked for me, but she ended up falling asleep all on her own. She then woke up around 1:15am, whining and groaning a little bit. It woke me up, so I watched her on the security camera searching for her paci, and once she found it, she went back to sleep. So luckily, I didn’t even have to actually get out of the bed.
And then when we woke her up this morning, she was mostly back to her normal, happy self. But by the time we got to school, this girl was being so silly & goofy!

We forgot the tiny bunny at home again, so once again, Daddy had to take the tiny bunny back to bed to hang out with the big bunny during the day, then send us a picture for photographic evidence for the toddler.
