We had a great day at home today, despite the nasty weather, with the tornado warnings the flood watch… (Addison is under quarantine because her teacher tested positive for covid last week, and then daycare closed anyways, because of the weather, keeping Emerson home too.) But since most of what we did today was just our typical stay-at-home stuff, I’ll just basically photo-dump-and-run tonight…

Tonight is one of those nights when I’m just super stinking tired. Like, I feel really exhausted and can’t stop yawning, so this’ll be short & sweet.
First of all, I only took one little girl to school today, but she was excited to go to school, but missed having Baby Sister with us. Unfortunately, one of Addison’s teachers tested positive for covid yesterday, so her class was closed starting today, for the next 10 days… 🙁

Luckily, we still woke up to a nice, cool house this morning, so I’m glad to say our a/c is still working it’s little booty off. And my sweet little girls was just as happy as ever this morning!

I don’t know how this has happened, but somehow Emerson is now old enough for VPK! And today was the first day! She moved to a new classroom, and got new teachers, and some new friends in her class too. She was very excited this morning, and did great at drop-off.

Sweet little baby sister had herself a 2am bottle late last night, and then again at 6am. And then she immediately zonked back out on the couch, with her bib still on and everything. Emmie tucked her little pink sock monkey in with her too.

We were all out of eggs this morning, and Emmie didn’t want mini waffles – she insisted on biscuits instead. So Jeff ran to Bojangles to pick up biscuits for us, and she was very happy with that.
