Jeff did drop-off duty for the girls at camp today. And although Addie was doing a little scowl here, he said things went well and she wasn’t actually unhappy.

And I had a quick check-up at the doctor’s office today. Afterwards, I picked up a breakfast scramble bowl from Chick-fil-A, and ate in the car super fast. Then I ran into Marshall’s to check for more Hobbry puzzles, and lucked out finding two more, both of which are book-related and adorable!

And speaking of Hobbry puzzles, I actually finished this first one last night. It was so fun and quick and easy to put together, and I loved working on it. It fit together so well, that I knew we’d be able to do the puzzle-pickup-challenge, but I wanted to be the one to do it this time instead of Emmie, so I made her take my picture, and she actually took like 12 photos. But then she still wanted to do it too, of course.

Tonight for dinner I did a variation of last weeks’ “new recipe” and just switched it up from salsa verde beef quesadillas to salsa verde chicken quesadillas. So easy, so tasty.

And my simple homemade pico de gallo was delicious and a nice little touch.

At bedtime, Addison was having a bit of a rough time… Jeff had been outside doing yard work, and was still getting cleaned up when it was time for us to start bedtime. But she only wanted him, and not me, and was mad about that, so she was having a little fit and hiding under the pillows. Well, Emerson and I just sat in there with her patiently, said prayers and played lullabies, and she was totally asleep under there by the second song.

As usual, I’m gonna force myself to wash as many dishes as I can with a 10-minute audio book timer on, and then I’m gonna get started on my next Hobbry puzzle 😉
