My two little beauties, ready for a great, hot summer Friday! You can’t even tell, but Emerson has on a yellow polka dot bikini under her dress, ready for water day!
And clearly she had a great day at water day with her little friends! And there’s that yellow polka dot bikini!
And Addison had another great day in her class as well!
When I picked up the girls after school, Addison walked herself from her classroom, all the way out to the car, and was oh so very proud of herself in the process.
We decided to go for a pizza party Friday night! So I called in our order after picking up the girls, picked up the pizza on the way home, and then we just sat straight down at the table to eat.
Since we ate dinner earlier than usual, that meant we had lots of time to just hang out and play after dinner, so we did a little bit of everything, all over the house.
Finally, after about an hour of playtime, we got started on bedtime. Emmie wanted to do books and prayers and lullabies in Mommy’s bed, and then wanted to Daddy to come and do his little songs and loves in my bed too, before heading off to her own bed.
Clearly, Jeff did a great job putting Addison to sleep, and he was able to go lay her down in her crib right after this, and she’s just sound asleep, not moving a tiny muscle in there now (I’m watching her on the camera in her room while I type this). Although I didn’t cook tonight, there are still of course some dirty dishes, but I’m not gonna wash them tonight – they can wait until tomorrow, and instead, I’m going to do my puzzle for a little bit, and then paint my nails while we try to finish up the last episode of “Stranger Things.”
