Daddy took just little Addie Pie to camp this morning.
And I took Emmie girl to TOC for another set of x-rays and a check-up with the doctor. And she had a great appointment! The bone has healed great, with lots of new bone growth. He said she only needs to wear her sling in certain high-risk situations, but that mostly she could be out of it now! He also told her some exercises to work on getting her mobility back (extending her elbow and doing some pendulum circles for her shoulder), since her arm is kind of stuck in that same position after 3 weeks in the sling, since she was such a good rule follower with that 😁 We will go back again in 4 weeks for hopefully the last checkup! 👍🏼

First photo is the x-ray from today, and the second one is the side-by-side of both, with the first one on the left, where you can really see where the break was. Today, you have to look much harder to actually see the break! When looking at today’s x-ray, I could barely even see where the break was, until I compared it to the old one.

And then she was treated to a strawberry matcha and a bagel from the cute little coffee shop inside TOC (called Cup of Joe), so she was feeling special 😁 And I made her hold her bagel in her right hand, and extend her elbow, for practice!

I dropped Emerson off at camp after her appointment. And then since we had the day off work, Mama, Megan and I met up for brunch at First Watch. I got the frittata rustica and it was really yummy, and felt very healthy.

Then we actually went out to mom’s house for a little bit of adults-only pool time. It was nice to have some family time without all those crazy kids around! Eventually, I headed back home, and then Jeff and I picked up the girls, and we stopped by to find a LFL on FSU’s campus, since we knew it would be pretty dead around there…

We had lots of time to play and hang out at home tonight, and Addie got started right away. I went to my room right when we got home, and as I walked back out, this girl had already fully changed into a dress, heels, crown, and purse! With her little handheld fan as well 🙂

We had a simple dinner, and then just hung out some more, and I found Addie coloring in here again, singing to herself the whole time, just being very sweet.

I was also re-styling the top of my little heart bookshelf, because I got that little tiny lamp from a lady off Facebook Marketplace today. I’ll probably tinker with it a little bit more as I move things around some, but I like the tiny lamp now, instead of the tall floor lamp.

Emmie was crazy exhausted tonight, so she actually went to bed early, and was actually asleep pretty quickly. Addie thought she wasn’t tired, but she was yawning and her eyes were very heavy, so Jeff got her to sleep eventually too.
