Water Day Gnome

For Emerson’s second-to-last day of kindergarten, they had a water day! So she wore her little size 4T bathing suit from last summer, and I braided her bangs and gave her a cute pony tail, and she was so excited for water day, followed by free Chick-fil-A for lunch!

And we all know baby Addie Pie was looking super cute as usual 🙂

My mother-in-law gave me this cute little gnome plant pot clinger guy, and he just looks so cute on my office plants.

It was fun to see these water day pics from Emmie’s teacher, and see all they fun she had today! Her teacher’s email said after all that fun and running around, they all ended up very quiet during lunch time.

And we had a few good photos of Addie from her teachers today too.

Finished this audio book today, and it was a great fantasy book, that is the first in a duology, so I’m looking forward reading the second one soon too.

I made my typical pasta with meat sauce for dinner tonight, but it just turned out better than ever tonight. I used ground turkey, with plenty of diced sauteed onions & even some red bell pepper, plus lots of seasonings, and a jar and a half of two different flavors of sauce, and it was just so yummy!

I did bath time for the girls after dinner, and then Addie found this Bluey truck tucked away that she had been given for her birthday, that we hadn’t opened yet. She was so very excited about it, and played with it for a while after bath. And then the girls shared some nilla wafers and some carrots while watching Bluey, before we started on bedtime.

And you can see that once again they were very tired, and both fell asleep easily, and both were carried off to their own respective beds.

I just finished watching the documentary on Netflix that I started a couple of nights ago, and it was really good. It was especially interesting, since it was about a 16-year-old girl convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison, who’s sentence is eventually commuted by the governor, after changes in laws concerning juvenile sentences, which is part of what I actually do at work every day, working for Corrections. So if you’re interested, it was called “Murder to Mercy: The Cyntoia Brown Story,” on Netflix.
