I’m distracted tonight while watching a cheesy dance video on Netflix, so I’m gonna make it short & sweet… But look at this beautiful sunrise this morning!

Today Emerson did “H” is for headband, and then proceeded to break her headband at some point during the day 🙁
Saw this cutie through the window as I left the school, smiling up at the little things on her seat. So sweet!
Leftovers for lunch today, just as delicious as the first time around.
Apple taste-testing in class today. She said she loved them all!
Drive-thru chicken tenders for dinner tonight on the way home, to keep things quick and easy, and so there would be no more dishes for me to wash tonight 😉
Then we spent as much time as we could outside, until the mosquitos got too bad and it started getting dark.
She laid down like this and just laid there for a few minutes, then said, “I wish I could touch the sky.” I said, “Oh yeah? How would you do that?” She said, “I’d touch it in an airplane!”

When we went inside, I fed Addie a bottle while Emmie snacked and we watched a movie (I’ve been sitting here for 2 minutes trying to remember what we watched, and I can’t come up with anything…), then I went through the bedtime routine with both of them. And both of them actually just did really well tonight!
After getting them both down, I tidied up and vacuumed the living room, so that’ll be one less chore to do tomorrow. I have my favorite candle burning now, and I’m going to finish watching this cheesy dance video I started on my lunch break today, and then take myself to bed early.
Jeff handled all the middle of the night stuff last night, so I got to sleep from about 10pm – 5:50am, and I actually felt pretty decent when I woke up this morning, and I’m not as tired now as I have been at this time of night all week long. So maybe I’ll get another really good night’s sleep tonight! Here’s hoping!
