Thai Iced Coffee

We were prepared for Florida’s crazy “winter weather” today, all bundled up for the 40 degrees this morning, but with short sleeves for the 70 degrees this afternoon!

I met my friend Britteny for lunch at Siam Sushi today, and it was so good to eat and chat with her, and our food was so delicious! I got the Thai iced coffee, and the sushi lunch special, which is two rolls for $12, with soup or salad, and I always choose soup. This special used to only be $10, but it looks like they recently increased all their prices. Even still, this is still a great deal for this much food! Neither of us could finish our sushi actually, so we took it to-go.

More good photos of the girls from their teachers today, both girls looking adorable!

Jeff was playing with the girls while I was making dinner tonight, and Addison crawled up under the coffee table and just played under there for a bit.

I just whipped up some tuna salad and side salads, and then ended up making the tuna into tuna melts with provolone. I used this new seasoning mix that our friends Britteny & Steven gave to us as part of our Christmas gift. I had noticed this at their house when we first went and commented on it (since I love the Columbia & lived in St. Augustine for college), and they remembered and got some for us! She told me she puts it in her tuna, so I tried it tonight, and it was definitely a good addition.

We did bath time for both girls tonight, and then got them both ready for bed. Emerson helped me make some tea, and we shared some of the last pieces of the Funfetti cake we made together last weekend.

This little goofball played in her little play pen for a bit, while we put some fresh sheets on Emerson’s bed, washed up a few bottles, and then Jeff came back to grab her while I put Emerson to bed.

Once I got Emerson to bed, Jeff went back to love on her, and I gave Addison her last bottle of the night, and then snuggled her after she instantly fell asleep.

Then I finished up some “Hawaiian mac salad” that I had started earlier (by boiling the pasta while I was making the tuna), for a work luncheon tomorrow.

I’ve got to go wash up all the dishes tonight, but there aren’t too many, so I’ll do that, and then we’ll finish watching the Harry Potter thing, because we didn’t end up watching it last night because Jeff was doing some “side work” and I just watched Survivor until my bedtime.
