We had a very chill, slow day most of today, and not many pictures, so today’s post will be short & sweet. We had our typical easy drop-off today…
But this little Chickpea was very tired this morning, you can see it in her eyes.
We had a fish fry today for a wedding celebration for some coworkers. (That’s why I made that mac salad last night.) The funny part is, the two that got married were the ones that fried all the fish for us! They caught all of it themselves (grouper & snapper), and it was honestly some of the best fried fish I’ve ever had. This photo was actually halfway through, after everyone had gotten a plate, but we still had so much food left.

We kinda scrounged up some random dinner stuff again tonight – leftover tuna in a lettuce wrap with leftover mac salad for me – and PB&J’s for Emmie and Daddy.
We had just a little play and chill time after dinner, then we all kinda took turns cuddling before bedtime.
Addison has been having a rough time tonight with her cough, and I’m just hoping she’ll get some good sleep, and start feeling better. For the first time since before Thanksgiving (since we went camping the weekend before Thanksgiving actually), we have zero plans and nowhere to be, and I’m really looking forward to that. We will finally get the Christmas tree taken down and all the stuff put away, but other than that, we’re taking it slow & easy & just enjoying some quiet family time!
