Sweet Like Mommy, Round 2

I was running a little late this morning, but that ended up working out great, because we pulled up to school right as Uncle Bo and the triplets were getting out of the van! So we had a coincidental group drop-off, which was fun for the whole family!

As soon as I got Addie out of her car seat, Bo came over and said, “Oh, you got your shoulders out today!” Then immediately grabbed her and said, “I’ll take this girl!” And yes, it’s “sketti strap” season now that it’s summer time!

This was another one of Emerson’s old outfits, and it is one of my all-time favorites. I was so glad to see Addison wearing it today, and it definitely brought back memories from four years ago, when Emmie wore this same little outfit! Both my girls are “Sweet like Mommy”

This is Emerson in June 2018, literally the exact same age as Addison now, 11 months old! But Emmie had a couple teeth then, and Addie still has none 😉

I finished the newest Nicholas Sparks audiobook this morning (five out of five stars, by the way; and I hope this one becomes a movie in the future like so many of his others), and then started this new, lighter book today on the way to daycare.

For dinner tonight, I made breakfast burritos with sliced strawberries, and it turned out really yummy.

I had a little playtime with the girls after dinner again, while Jeff worked on some more chores around the house. Then we started working on their bedtime, and got them both down pretty easily tonight actually.

And this goofball had some raw carrots for a snack before bedtime…

Heading off to do my usual chore – washing dishes & bottles – while listening to my audiobook, right after I finish the last few minutes of my current Survivor episode.
