Squishy Ducks

Beautiful babies in their blue & white dresses, looking so perfect before church. We actually did their bath time early this morning, instead of late last night, so they were looking pristine for church today.

We went back to the Peruvian rotisserie chicken restaurant for lunch today. We ordered the family meal again, and paid for the upgrade to all-white meat, and slightly switched up our sides today. And this was all sooo good. And we still have enough leftovers of everything for me to take to lunch for work for at least one day, and more chicken for a second day.

After eating, the girls got up and were just having a great time dancing to the music, laughing and giggling and being so stinking cute!

 

 

We went to Five Below and found squishy duckies, for only $3 each, and then ran into Aldi to grab some treats and goodies for our Connect Group at church tonight. Then I needed to grab a giant iced latte from Dunkin, their new tiramisu cloud latte, and it was delicious.

I forced the girls to have some quiet time this afternoon at home, so we put on “Because of Winn Dixie,” and I worked on my puzzle, and Addie did some coloring, and Emmie was just hanging off the side of the chair 😆

We went back up to the church for the first night of Connect Groups for this semester, starting with a big giant group dinner first, before splitting up into our separate classes. We had a great first night of classes and our group is off to a good start!

Emerson had a bit of a rough time falling asleep tonight, and after the late night at the church, everything else is pushed back later tonight too. But I still gotta get some work done in the kitchen tonight, which I just purposefully ignored all weekend up until this point, so I’m gonna head in there now and see how much I can accomplish. I’m gonna have to recruit Jeff for some assistance though, so that I won’t be in there forever…
