Pink Stingray

Addie Pie was really sleeping in this morning, so Jeff took her to school today once she finally woke up, since he was off work yesterday and today to hang out with the boys. Not sure why she’s making this funny little squinty face, but I think it’s funny.

Emerson enjoyed her last day with Grammy, Papa and Grandmommie, and even got to meet the newest baby in our family, my cousin Aaron’s son, Asher!

And Addison had a good day at school, and finally got to go out on the playground, since today was warmer.

I had planned to make hot dogs tonight, and Jeff and the boys requested we air fry them. I hadn’t thought of that before, but I Googled the “recipe” (basically just what temp & how long), then quickly scored each of them, and air fried them! And they were actually super good that way. They tasted more like they were grilled outside, at the ball park, and of course there were no leftovers.

I asked Ryan to rinse all the plates from dinner, and he very sweetly rinsed all the pots & pans from tonight too, without being asked. (Now I just gotta get one of them to actually wash everything for me too, cuz it’s a full sink! 😉 )

After three days with her grandparents, Emmie wasn’t really ready to leave them yet, but we did get her back home with us tonight 🙂 Her tummy was kind of hurting and she didn’t want to eat much dinner though. But I made her a cup of warm peach tea, and she perked up a little, and was very sweet and cuddly at bedtime.

She got this new pink stingray yesterday, and loves it. And Grandmommie gave her that little angel bear that says the “Now I lay me down to sleep” prayer, and also crocheted her the tiny blanket to go with it. She had everything tucked in so cute and sweet for bedtime. She was exhausted too, and was out like a light in no time.

And you know these two fell asleep together in the recliner, listening to the waves on a YouTube video.

I’m off work again for the next four days (thanks to the Governor for all the extra holidays!), so I’m done with work this week already! Looking forward to another nice long weekend full and rest and fun and family time.
