Look at my beautiful girls before church this morning!! I love Emerson’s little thrifted dress and her platform heels. And I love Addie’s little super soft dress and her Elsa heels.
And I don’t think I’ve mentioned it yet, but the girls have pink hair! Emmie’s is much harder to see (and mostly just on the under layer), but Addie’s is the perfect shade of pink now. They did some highlights Thursday night with Anderson, and it’s just the kind that washes out. So now that she’s had a couple of swims and a couple of baths, it’s a beautiful pastel pink.

Dave, Nita and Andie came to our church today, and by a stroke of luck, neither Jeff nor I were serving anywhere today, so we were all able to sit together in the service! Andie doesn’t have Zaxby’s now that they’ve moved from Georgia to Ohio, so she requested that for lunch today, which was quick and easy and worked out perfectly for us to go together.

I had to rush back to church after lunch for our monthly choir and full band rehearsal, from 1-2:30. We learned two new songs and sounded great, honestly! Then I ran home for a few minutes, picked up my bag of puzzles to swap, and picked up Emerson, and we headed downtown. We met up with Grammy at the main library branch for another puzzle swap with the Big Bend Puzzle group, and had so much fun! We did this for the first time a few months ago, and had great time. There were more people today, AND more puzzles, and we made out like bandits!

Mom brought seven puzzles, I brought five kids’ puzzles and three “regular” puzzles, and both of us took home 11 new-to-us puzzles! Mine are the left half of the table, and hers are the right side, with a few mixed in that middle area…

I handed her the bag as a joke so I could fish out my keys, but she held on to it. Then she told me to take a picture of her holding it with one hand, so she would look strong 🙂

We had a very busy, slightly turbulent (at times) evening/night after that… We went to Dollar Tree for a few things, and then Walmart for a few things… I baked a breakfast pizza from the Walmart deli for our dinner, and we worked on clean-up and packing and more laundry, because we’re going out of town tomorrow. Jeff’s office has their annual conference in Daytona this week, so the girls and I will be tagging along with him, since the State is paying for the hotel room, and even a rental mini-van 😉
I got the girls to be earlier, but they both woke up already, and are currently on the couch while I finish writing this. So now I’m heading back to go through the bedtime routine again, and then we have lots of packing to finish up! And if you don’t hear from me for a few days, I’ll just come back Friday night with a big recap post from the week!
