Jeff and the boys got up and hit the road early this morning. Emerson gave everyone hugs and kisses, but we kept it really casual so she wouldn’t get worked up or upset. Then her and I also hit the road to go have breakfast with the family. Uncle Keith and Aunt Suzanne were out of town, as we’re Bo & Megan, but Grandmother cooked a huge delicious meal for us, as well as Grammy and Papa.

Well apparently she threw up sometime in the night, silently in her sleep (we all slept through it), because it was dried on her sheets when she woke up this morning. And I felt terrible. 😭 So before it was even 7am, she was already fresh from the bath, and dressed in a new strawberry outfit from Grammy.

So this morning, I woke up just absolutely starving. I don’t know why, but I was wayyy hungrier than usual. I also got ready really quickly this morning, so Emerson and I were both dressed & ready to go a full 10 minutes early. So we went to Taco Bell before school to grab breakfast! I parked at school, and let her sit in the front seat next to me, to share my bacon Crunchwrap, and I think you’d say she enjoyed it. Both the front seat and the food! Actually, when I first put her up here, she said, “I drive?!” And I told her, “Not yet, little one.”
