Sunrise was beautiful this morning! Those of us not able to telework got to see this huge bright orange sun cresting over the interstate this morning (which I realize isn’t a majestic location or anything, but it IS wide open and clear coming down the little hill). We actually got up and moving pretty early this morning, and since we had done the majority of the packing last night, it was easy to finish up and get loaded relatively early. So once we were woken up early-ish by the toddler, we were in the car and rolling by 7:40am!

Breakfast today was even weirder than before, because we only got to choose from a few cold items, and then they bagged it for us to bring it back to our room again. So we had things like cold, un-toasted bagels, or a muffin or banana. It left much to be desired.

Emerson started her day by getting her hair curled for the first time!
And then we had a really good continental breakfast at the hotel. With those fancy fresh juices, and my array of choices, I felt like one of those “balanced breakfast” ads. And it was all so good! They even had fresh smoothies, which Emerson definitely loved.
