Started the day off with some hot coffee (out of a home mug, instead of a travel cup, which always feels like a treat!), and some egg sandwiches all around.
The girls wanted to do a “picnic” while we watched a movie, so they like putting their stools down as tables in front of the tv. And we watched the brand new Camp Rock 3, with the Jonas Brothers! Oh, and the glass on my camera lens shattered on my phone, so that’s why I’ve had these weird flares and lines on my photos the last few days. It’s worse in certain lights, like this one, and hopefully Jeff can get it repaired for me soon, or else I’ll be needing a new phone, because I can’t not be able to take good photos!

This girl kinda ate all the eggs of her sammich, and went a bit crazy with how she ate her bread, but overall, she did pretty good.

After finishing the movie, the girls helped me clean up around the living room, dining room, and their bathroom. Emerson stole my phone a couple of times to snap selfies, and this one in portrait mode was the best one. She’s so precious 🙂

And we got the living room looking so much nicer now, from a very cluttered mess earlier this morning.

And I left my puzzle so close to being finished…

We scrounged together a little lunch, mostly snack plates and a bit of leftovers, and then finally got dressed for the day around 1pm. We packed our pool bag with towels and waters, and then headed over to Grammy’s house for some afternoon swim time.

This photo was about the only 5 seconds they were even remotely this still and quiet, because they popped right back up basically immediately after I snapped this.

The girls and I got cleaned up and dressed after swimming, and Grammy and Papa made a breakfast for dinner feast for us. Pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs for the girls, and over-easy fried eggs for the rest of us.

We stayed to hang out just a little longer, but I made sure we left earlier tonight, since we were there so late last night. Last night, we didn’t leave until almost 9pm, but tonight we left right at 7pm. Much earlier, but baby sister still fell asleep on the drive home, while big sister and I were both singing along to “Folklore” the whole way.

Oooh, we found this little shelf out on the road a few houses down from us when we left earlier today, so I turned around and loaded it up in the car and brought it right back home. It also had two large wicker baskets for two of the cubes, but those smelled a little funky, so they’re airing out over night in the carport. But we wiped this down and got it cleaned up to bring inside. We recently got rid of an old chair that used to be in this location, but now this is the perfect spot for my puzzle collection!

And I finished this puzzle tonight while the girls watched an episode of “Sophia the First,” which is their newest fave and they watch that at bedtime lately. This one is called “Novel Neighbor” and is one of the new Hobbry ones I’ve gotten recently. This one was probably my least favorite of them all so far though, simply because of that tan color! I wish it was more colorful, but the whole thing was still very cute.

We did a one-parent put-down tonight, because Jeff had actually been out of town all day today. Because he bought a new car! He’s been researching and test-driving forever, and finally found one, but it was up in McDonough, GA, so him and his dad drove up there to get it today, and they didn’t get back until the girls were already asleep tonight. I’ll have to get a picture of him with the new car tomorrow though to share here.

Jeff got back home while I’ve been writing this post, so I went out for a little while to check it out, and it’s so nice! But I’ll have to wait for a test drive/ride until tomorrow. For now though, I’m probably gonna start another puzzle 😉
