Noodle Slurper

Aren’t my girls just so stinking precious?! I can never get enough of these to cuties!!

Sadly, our favorite teacher Ms. Q is moving on from Growing Room, and tomorrow will be her last day before starting her new job at DCF. She was such LOVED teacher of Emerson’s, and I was so looking forward to the day that Addison moved to her classroom, and now I’m so sad that won’t be happening! She will be greatly missed, so of course we had to stop by for loves and one last picture together.

Decided to walk down to my sisters office building to eat lunch with her today. We both brought our little sandwiches, and we shared chips, and we had such a great lunch together, just chatting and hanging out. She also got a promotion recently, and I got to see her new office. She moved from a wide-open cubicle, into her own office now, and it’s so nice, and she had it decorated so cute. I’m so proud of her! (And luckily, the thunder & lightning storm happened while I was safe inside the building, and stopped raining before I had to walk back.)

Both girls had a good day at school, as usual.

Well tonight I really didn’t feel like cooking tonight, and Jeff had forgotten to put the frozen chicken out to thaw like I asked, so we just abandoned ship. Jeff had a coupon card for a free meal at Bento, so we headed there, and got our two adult meals and one kids meal, for only $21, so that was a steal. And my Mongolian chicken rice bowl was amazingly delicious. I shared quite a lot of mine with Addison, and I still didn’t finish the whole thing, and brought leftovers home.

And this girl  just LOVES noodles! She’s been a noodle lover and a noodle slurper for years now. And pretty much all Asian food for that matter. She slurped up every single noodle in her bowl, and when she ate the teriyaki chicken, she was like, “Oh this has really good flavor.”

We didn’t have too much time at home before bedtime, but we spent just a little playtime in Addie’s room, and then watched a little bit of our Animal Kingdom show on Disney+.

The girls did really well at bedtime, and things went very smoothly. I’m just feeling super tired tonight, so Jeff offered to do some clean-up of dishes we’ve got piled up from the last few days, so that I can just sit and rest for the night.

Oh also, I submitted a picture of Jeff and I leaving our wedding and reception, in a photo contest for the Wakulla Springs Lodge, for a giveaway to win a free 2-night stay at the Lodge! If you could vote for us, that will help us towards winning! The contest is open for a long time, all the way through September 29 so vote & share as many times as you can until then. Then our anniversary is on October 5, so the timing would be perfect if we actually win! CLICK HERE to vote, and then you can “rally votes” to share to give us more points as well.
